Welcome to Olan Meows! We're a husband-and-wife team based in Scotland, combining our skills to create nostalgic pet portraits.

The story of Olan Meows began with our beloved cat, Franklin. We made an awkward 80’s portrait of him, posted it on Reddit, and it made the front page. Olan Meows was born from this, named as a nod to the iconic Olan Mills photography studios.

Sadly, Franklin passed away at just two years old from a heart condition. His spirit lives on in every portrait we create.

We’ve now created over 500 portraits for others, refining our style over the years. These aren't just quick cut-and-paste jobs, our portraits are carefully made with a high standard of care and creativity, ensuring each one captures your pet's personality in a high quality, vintage portrait.
